As a part of our dynamic Collections Team, you'll play an essential role in supporting our Collections Manager. The heart of our Collections Department is to act in the best interest of our property owners, ensuring timely payment of balances and facilitating healthy relationships with our customers.

Qualifications:
· Possession of an Illinois Leasing Agent License or the ability to obtain one.
· Adherence to Fair Housing regulations and requirements.
· A valid Illinois Driver's license and vehicle insurance.
· Strong communication skills, expressing yourself with clarity and respect via in-person, phone, email, and text.
· A persuasive nature, able to effectively share your viewpoint.
· A keen eye for detail and a commitment to thorough execution.
· Flexibility and a willingness to adapt to evolving environments.
· A positive attitude even in challenging times.
· Proficiency in company software and MS Office Suite.
· High School diploma
· Reliability and punctuality during office hours.
· Ability to handle multiple responsibilities with ease.
· Comfort with sitting for extended periods and occasional stair climbing.
Responsibilities:
· Regular monitoring of delinquent balances.
· Collaboration with customers to establish payment plans, while ensuring accountability.
· Demonstrating compassion to customers facing financial hardship.
· Detailed documentation of customer interactions.
· Accurate data tracking through Excel and provided software.
· Achievement of department goals and activity requirements.
· Representation in court for evictions and lawsuits if needed.
· Communication with attorneys and collection agencies.
· Cooperation with all departments to address company-wide concerns.
