Commercial Compliance Manager Job at Main Street Renewal LLC
The Commercial Compliance Manager will act to acquire and maintain state and municipal individual and Company general contractor licenses, permits, and authorizations (the “Licenses”) as necessary for the Company. This role will include researching, applying, maintaining, and responding to all licensure requests from internal and external stakeholders, comprehensive tracking and reporting relating to the Company’s licensure status in all jurisdictions.
Reports To:Director, Compliance - Commercial Risk
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with appropriate teams to ensure the Licenses are properly applied for and maintained on a go-forward basis.
- Review and track the Licenses in all jurisdictions, provide comprehensive reporting and change reporting relating to licensed status in current and in-process jurisdictions.
- Works with field construction employees and office staff to ensure all information relating to the Licenses is complete, timely, and correct.
- Ongoing tracking, monthly reporting preparation, and submission.
- Send Emails and place outbound calls to licensed individuals and licensing departments, as well as other Company employees as needed to ensure proper licensure and completion of information.
- Ability to interact well with internal and external stakeholders.
- Utilize appropriate systems to gain information and record activities.
- Ability to work in a structured environment with a diverse workforce.
- Performs other related duties as needed or assigned.
Minimum Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- At least 3 years of Construction Management, Permitting, Compliance, or Licensing experience.
- Strong organizational, administrative and time management skills.
- Excellent listening skills and the ability to ask probing questions, understand concerns, and overcome objections.
- Must possess a professional and friendly attitude while being able to quickly develop a rapport with stakeholders and other Company employees.
- Strong work ethic and self-starter, able to effectively manage multiple priorities and adapt to change within a fast-paced business environment.
- Ability to learn and navigate new software and systems quickly.

Work Schedule
This is a full-time position and requires availability Monday – Friday. Some overtime may be required only as approved.
