â¯What you will own
- Coordinating and supervising H.O.P.E. Ambassadors
- Providing in-person outreach in group settings or door-to-door interactions
- Educating community members about the organization and connecting people with services and resources
- Digitally documenting community engagement
Skills you will bring
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Familiarity with the Black Belt region including residents and community-based organizations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
- Optimism and kindness
- Strategic and efficient
- Strong communication (written and spoken)
- Ability to quickly learn new administrative software
Negotiables
- Management experience- our client provides training
- Bachelor's Degree
Non-negotiables
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years experience in one of the following areas:
- Community organizing
- Non-profit
- Faith-based leadership
- Social service/advocacy
- Education
- Residency within 12-county region or willingness to relocate
- Comfortable walking and talking for extended periods of time
- Exceptional oral communication skills
- Neat, clean, and presentable appearance
