Serves as resource to center staff in all areas of center compliance with federal and state guidelines regulating community clinics with lab licenses. Serves as the liaison with auditing bodies related to areas of site/license driven compliance including CLIA, DHS and OSHA inspections. Performs internal compliance auditing of centers to ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.
Assists in quality activities as requested by the Director of Quality Management. Manages various projects as assigned either directly or through supervision of support staff. Works independently to manage projects through to completion.

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Licensure and/or Certification Requirements:
- Current California Registered Nurse License preferred.
Minimum Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Licensed RN, BSN, Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Minimum Work Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a health care setting required.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a regulatory compliance/clinic management capacity required.
- Minimum of 1-year experience in project management of advanced, compliance related projects in a health care setting preferred.
Other Requirements:
- Accuracy and attention to detail essential.
- Ability to prioritize and manage numerous projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
- Professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Availability to work flexible hours, which may include occasional weekends.

- This position requires travel to other sites and locations; if using a personal vehicle to meet this requirement, a valid CA driver’s license and current auto insurance in compliance with the minimum requirements of CA vehicle code are required.
Responsibilities:
Essential Functions: Essential functions encompass the required tasks, duties and responsibilities performed as part of the job and the reason the job exists.
- Ensures that all clinical care is delivered in compliance with DHS, CLIA, OSHA, PPFA (non-clinical care related) guidelines. Leads this process through setting up a system of audits and record keeping. Serve as liaison with outside auditors on all areas of compliance with the exception of clinical care delivery. Serves as resource to center staff in any related areas.
- Maintains current clinic licenses, hospital transfer agreements, CLIA and OSHA certifications. Manage process of licensing and permitting for any new or expanding sites.
- Manages the PPOSBC forms processes including annual updates to policies and procedures and bi-annual forms change processes.
- Manages tracking of research projects, including required approvals and payments.
- Manages and track meaningful use.
- Precepts California State University Long Beach Health Care Administration students.
- Manage projects independently as assigned by Director of Quality Management. Management of projects to include organization of deliverables, tracking of deliverables, and communication to affected parties through to completion. Projects may be subject to change.
- Required to take after hours call, as needed (If a Licensed Registered Nurse).
