  • Fully trained as Guest Service Agent, proficient in PMS, Guestware, Front Office SOP’s, hotel facilities and hours of operation.
  • Promptly greet and welcome every Guest in a friendly manner, using the 15/5 Rule. Immediately determine the Guest’s needs.
  • Have strong communication skills in: writing; verbal and hospitality.
  • Ensure Guest/hotel problems are reported, resolved, tracked and followed-up on. Follow-up is defined as: calling the Guest back; leaving a voicemail if not in the room; leaving a written letter or note or a PMS text message, and notifying other hotel departments where relevant.
  • Be aware and informed of incoming groups, registration areas, meeting rooms, etc. Have knowledge of guest room layouts, guest room amenities and room types.
  • Performs reasonable requests as directed by Supervisor/Manager.
  • Assists in other areas of Front Office/DTS as business demands
  • Professionalism and courtesy are to be extended at all times to guests, associates, and vendors.
  • Keep an up to date file on the attractions in the area that may be of interest to our guests.
  • Arrange all transportation requests and billing accordingly.
  • Accept all dinner reservations for hotel restaurants.
  • Supply directions and information regarding hotel outlets, hours of operation, surrounding areas, room location, views, amenities, etc.
  • Assist in the completion of the assigned daily checklist.
  • Have daily knowledge of groups or function in-house and current local events.
  • Maintain clean work environment and equipment.
  • Ensure hospitality standards are maintained.
