Do you find personal satisfaction in supporting a large team of field staff through a variety of tasks? As a result of an internal promotion, ABS is recruiting our next Field Administrator. This role is located in our Broomfield office, with flexible remote work options after onboarding and training. You’ll be interacting with our Foreman team, our entire installation team, and various management staff in any given month. Calendar management, setting travel accommodations, expense report management, timesheet pre-processing, scheduling/dispatching, new installer onboarding, and fleet management tasks are all part of this position. Your need for accuracy and process will be well-suited on our team.
The Field Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to the Foremen, Field Team and Service Team through the following duties:
Essential Functions
1. Compiles field payroll data and processes weekly transfer of that data
2. Polls electronic time clocks and reviews the downloaded information for completeness and accuracy
3. Contacts Foremen and/or employees for any missed items
4. Processes employee expense reports, reimbursement reports, and field staff benefits
5. Assist Foremen with scheduling, auditing, reconciling, and forecasting installation work hours using appropriate technology
6. Schedules and organizes activities such as meetings, travel, conferences and department activities for the field department
7. Tracks metrics; creates and develops visual presentations
8. Establishes, develops, maintains and updates filing system for the Field department. Retrieves information from files; assist Foremen with maintaining accurate project files
9. Acts as a liaison with other departments and outside agencies, including high-level staff such as CEOs, presidents, superintendents and general contractors; handles confidential and non-routine information and explains policies when necessary
10. Works independently and within a team on special projects including planning and coordinating multiple presentations, disseminating information, and scheduling resources
11. Onboards field staff new hires in various software systems and coordinates onboarding activities
12. Tracking and maintenance of various items such as boot and tool allowances, safety meetings, etc.
13. Coordinates fleet management and fleet maintenance with the accounting department.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday during regular business hours. Weekend or evening work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel
Occasional travel between office locations is expected.

Requirements:Required Education and Experience
- High school education or equivalent
- One year of administrative experience
Preferred Education and Experience
- Associate’s degree
- Two years of related experience in the construction industry
- Understanding of construction drawings and specifications

Pay
ABS is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role in Colorado is $45,000 - $55,000 plus bonus opportunity directly related to retention. Final Compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the candidate, and alignment with local market data.
