Position Open: Project Manager


We are looking for someone energetic and driven to help us grow into new areas of Construction, specifically Senior Living and Mixed use. Already firmly established in the MD area in the retail market, we have multiple openings for new talent. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate proven KBE characteristics of dedication, integrity, pride, and innovation.


Complete management responsibility from inception to completion and closeout. Primary responsibilities are to ensure the timely completions of projects assigned, consistent with quality standards, and to continue the development of the organization and people under direct supervision as well as keeping the VPs of Field Operations advised on all field matters.


The Project Manager is accountable to the supervision and direction of the activities of all field personnel on assigned construction projects. Other duties include: Assist in bid to secure projects; Review & become familiar with owner contracts & moderate kick-off meetings; Provide relevant information to Accounting, including budget summary & schedule of values; Perform complete job buyout, including drafting of subcontracts; On-going communication with clients, subcontractors & suppliers; Reviews of daily reports & job meeting minutes from Project Superintendents; Prepare C.P.M bar charts, work schedules, cash flow schedules, & enforce, monitor, & update schedules; Control all project costs; Resolve claims for extras and/or credits with owner, subcontractors & material suppliers; and Perform complete job buy out. Travel required.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must possess at least a BS in Engineering, Business, Construction Management or related field and at least 7-10 years of supervisory commercial construction industry experience
  • Depending upon the project size, scope, and complexity the years of experience may vary
  • Experience in Commercial projects- valued of $20M+ a must.
  • Senior Living experience greatly desired.
  • Must possess a minimum of OSHA 10
  • Proficiency w/ MS Office Suite, including MS Project, Viewpoint, CIS or similar application
