Is currently seeking a qualified Cook for a 48 bed assisted living Community with secured memory care.

ABOUT YOU:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Ensure compliance with all laws, rules, regulations, policies, and Procedures as they relate to food service within the community

· Maintaining kitchen sanitation, safety standards, and ensuring that all work/storage areas are clean and in compliance with the state regulations, free of hazards and properly arranged.

· Preparing meals and ensuring a high quality of resident satisfaction at the community.

· Additional duties as assigned

· Able to manage staff accordingly as needed in the kitchen when Chef is off

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· Experience with food preparation including cooking and serving meals in an Assisted Living or Long-term care setting

· The ability to carry out tasks quickly and competently

· Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds unassisted

· Take direction from supervisor

· Preferably has Supervisory experience

· Knows how to work under a budget

· Food ordering

· Time management skills

· Basic computer (Microsoft office, word, excel)

· Must have a compassion for seniors

· Ethics, dependability, able to think on your feet

· CPR/First Aid Certified

Must be Vaccinated

Insurance after 60 days

· 1,500.00 sign on Bonus after 90 days without any write ups.

· After 1 year of service you will get 40 hrs a week vacation added to your accrual

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
