Greenwich Woods Health Care Center seeks Full Time Cook to work 40 hours per week including every/other weekend.

Greenwich Woods is a 217-bed long term/short term rehabilitation facility that has been serving the Westchester and Fairfield Counties for more than 30 years. Our facility is conveniently located on the border of Rye Brook NY, with easy access to the Hutchinson/Merritt Parkways and I-684.

REQUIREMENTS:

• The Cook being ServeSafe certified is a plus
• The Cook must have an understanding of therapeutic diets, including modified texture diets.
• The Cook must have the ability to cook a variety of foods in large quantities.
• The Cook must be able to direct staff and supervise effectively and positively.
• The Cook must display excellent customer service skills.
• The Cook must have knowledge of dining service procedures.
• The Cook maintains supplies, equipment, the appearance of work areas, and performs regular inspections of food service areas for sanitation, order, safety and proper performance of assigned duties.
• Candidates must successfully pass a background check
• Candidates must be fully vaccinated and boosted

• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and work as a team member
• Must have a commitment to customer service excellence in all interactions with residents, family members, and facility team in accordance with our customer service performance standards.
• Attention to detail, good follow through skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Applicant must demonstrate the ability to be dependable, responsible, and work independently
• Applicant must have a good work ethic regarding appearance, productivity, attitude, and attendance
• Must be able to read and follow instructions in English
• Experience in a long term/short term health care facility is desired, but not required
