1ST SHIFT / MONDAY- FRIDAY / START TIME BETWEEN 3:00 AM AND 5:00 AM / 10 HOUR SHIFTS / SOME SATURDAYS

GENERAL JOB DUTIES:
- Read the work order to determine what is needed to make the core
- Measure and mix sand material to the correct specifications
- Fill the core box with sand and apply sand to the core box's specified thickness by using a ramming machine.
- Inserts and adjust rods and vents according to the job sheet.
- Using a crane remove the core from the pattern box
- Use a sanding block or chisel to smooth out any imperfections
- Spray the core to prevent iron from sticking to the sand
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials during your whole shift.
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable wearing an N-95 mask at times
- Standing and bending for long periods of time
- Comfortable working in a limited climate-controlled environment
