Summary:

Reporting to the President of Metal Sales, the Corporate Controller directs all accounting operations, fiscal responsibilities, cash management, and risk management of our nationwide and multi-site manufacturing operation. Leading a team of over 15 finance, accounting, and credit team members, the Controller serves as a senior manager and strategic partner to the business. Board of Directors and ownership exposure is commonplace.

Metal Sales Manufacturing Corporation is the nation’s largest manufacturer of metal roofing and building systems with 21 locations across America. The Controller sits in our Sellersburg, IN corporate office.

You’ll be responsible for (but not limited to):

• Planning, developing, organizing, implementing, directing, and evaluating the organization’s fiscal function, performance, strategy, metrics, policies, and procedures.
• Serving as a strategic partner and advisor from a financial perspective to the organization, including senior leadership and C-level executives, on decision making issues that impact MSMC.
• Leading, coaching, and developing a team of Finance, Accounting and Credit team members through plans for continuous improvement, efficiency, effectiveness, and goal and objective setting.

The most qualified candidates will have:

• Successful experience in a high-level Finance/Accounting Leadership role for 8+ years within a manufacturing setting
• CPA with a public accounting background and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA preferred
• A proven skill set demonstrating the ability to think and operate strategically, lead a team towards greatness, effectively communicate, and use sound judgement
