Avata Partners is seeking experienced Corporate Paralegals for full-time positions in the San Francisco Bay Area!

Job Summary:
As a Corporate Paralegal, you will assist lawyers in the corporate practice group including incorporations, foreign qualification, and corporate organization. Your duties will include preparing and maintaining corporate organization documents, maintaining corporate minute books, stock books, stock ledgers, and capitalization tables.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Administer stock option plans
- Maintain security holder files
- Sustain compliance
- Recognize, research, determine, prepare, and file Blue Sky security filings
- Facilitate and support closing venture capital financings and M&A transactions

Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as a Paralegal
- Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate
- Current Paralegal certificate within the state of practice
- Understanding of state, federal, and appellate court rules, legal ethics, and professional practice standards
