Description

STR is seeking a Corporate Recruiter to actively recruit and fill open positions across a company of 500+ employees. The positions will range from property level positions to a Regional Vice President. The recruiter will work actively with the owner, president, and management staff at each individual community. The position will be based at the home office in Memphis, TN.


Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Will fill approximately 15-20 positions per year with the very best employees
  • Generate ideas and help refine the recruiting strategy to access and recruit the very best employees for all position of the company
  • Develop a LinkedIn network
  • Develop and manage a database of all leads and contacts
  • Proactively send out letters, postcards, and/or cold calls to find, develop and create relationships with potential employees in the each of the markets where we operate our communities
  • Attend multiple conferences throughout the country to identify talent for manager and RVP positions
  • Work with on-site management to identify any unique criteria, which may be needed to fill the position
  • Gather resumes and complete initial screening to make sure all applicants that are interviewed are in line with our company standards and benchmarks
  • Set up on-site and zoom interviews with management
  • Complete credit, criminal, drug, employee testing and reference screening for final applicants
  • Work with our in-house controller generate an offer letter for final applicant
  • Send out to final applicant all new hire paperwork and ensure that all items are meet and that a start date is set

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will meet the following minimum qualifications:

  • Individual will possess a college degree.
  • Individual will possess 3-5 years of experience as a corporate recruiter
  • Individual will have strong sales skills and proven results over the telephone
  • Individual will possess strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Individual will be able to handle multiple tasks and projects at one time
  • Individual will have excellent organizational skills
  • Individual will be proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel
  • Individual will pass a stringent background check
