Corporate Tax Accountant Job at Hermann Transportation Services

Our Finance division is adding a Corporate Tax Accountant to the team. This role will be responsible for all tax related issues, including sales tax, income tax, and franchise tax.
Responsibilities:
- Timely and accurate compliance preparation and filing for all direct and indirect tax requirements of the businesses
- Manage and coordinate associated cash payments and prepayments required for compliance
- Work with external tax advisors on direct and indirect tax audit processes and communications for all jurisdictions as they arise
- Prepare various analysis required to build and support tax positions such as R&D credits, depreciation schedules, etc.
- Manage and coordinate annual tax return preparation review with external firm if required
Requirements:
- 1+ years in public accounting experience within the tax area
- CPA preferred

The following compensation information is a good faith estimate and is provided in accordance with applicable state laws. The base salary generally ranges between $85,000/year - $115,000/year. This range is an estimate based on an applicant’s skills, experience, and training.
