Big D Floor Covering Supplies is one of the leading wholesale suppliers to the flooring installation trade, with locations throughout the Southwest. We are looking for full-time Warehouse Associates at our branch in Torrance/ South Bay. The ideal candidate is consistent, energetic and willing to learn. We work in a fast-paced wholesale warehouse/retail environment serving flooring installation contractors.

This position is a warehouse role where you will be pulling products and assisting customers with loading their vehicles. This is a labor-intensive position where you will consistently lift items weighing up to 75 pounds or more. You may also use a pallet jack or forklift to maneuver items within the warehouse. It's a physically demanding position; but it can be rewarding for the right person.

Job Requirements:

• Must be able to handle and maneuver a variety of materials--single items weighing up to 75lbs
• Experience operating forklift and/or pallet jack
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent (Ex: GED)
• Must have legal right or authorization to work in the United States

Additional qualities considered an advantage:

• Attention to detail
• Experience or knowledge of the flooring installation trade
• Bilingual in Spanish

Core Job Duties:

• Verifying and pulling orders for customer pick-up or delivery
• Assisting customers with loading vehicles
• Receiving and stocking products delivered to our location
• Perform daily maintenance check of forklifts
• Other general warehouse duties
• Overflow duties from the store
• Any other tasks assigned by Manager or Supervisor

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour
