County Fiscal Officer 2 administers the financial operations and assists the AAA Administrator 3. Work involves budget development; the maintenance of fiscal and accounting structure; the review and monitoring of agency and provider fiscal and accounting operations, including such areas as budget, receipts and expenditures; the review and monitoring of fiscal and accounting operations of program funded and fee-for-service provider agencies; the conducting of internal program reviews and audits and the conduct and review of small scale audits of provider agencies, and the provision of training and technical assistance to provider agencies. Duties include responsibility for fiscal/budget forecasting, development of indirect cost allocation plans and cost settlements; participation in the development and fiscal monitoring of contracts; accounting and banking records and client accounts; and the preparation of tax returns and a variety of reports. This position may involve participation in the bidding and procurement of supplies and services. Work is performed with considerable independence under the direction of the Administrator and is reviewed through conference and reports.
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment.- Work hours are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Four years of accounting and/or budgetary experience and a business-related associate’s degree that includes six college credits in accounting; or
- Two years of accounting and/or budgetary experience and a business-related bachelor’s degree that includes six college credits in accounting; or
- One year as a County Fiscal Officer 1; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training which includes or is supplemented by six college credits in accounting.

- Hiring preference for this vacancy will be given to candidates who live within Cambria County. If no eligible candidates who live within Cambria County apply for this position, candidates who reside in other counties may be considered.

- You must pass a background investigation.
