Developers and companies around the world build on it, and the SDF team is expanding to support the rapidly growing and changing Stellar ecosystem.

SDF's Marketing and Communications efforts have exploded over the last year, as we have continued to add capability and capacity. The Creative Director will impact our efforts across all media – both digital and analog – and manage and grow a team to deliver best-in-class marketing creative.

In this role, you will:

• Lead a creative team focused on building the Stellar brand and driving the look and feel of marketing creative across all SDF marketing assets (including web, content pieces, digital media and experiential)
• Ensure a unified artistic direction, vision, and high production standard in the creation of visuals for both external and internal marketing use cases
• Partner within Marketing and Communications to ensure assets meet the goals, briefs, and brand requirements, along with ensuring brand consistency and identity across all audiences
• Manage the production calendar
• Motivate and inspire our graphic designers to do their best work without micromanaging
• In addition to producing creative assets in-house, this role will also work with external creatives to deliver against briefs, providing them direction and feedback to help them deliver world class marketing assets.
• Provide inspiration to designers and facilitate training opportunities to develop all art disciplines, drive creative culture
• Actively participate in hiring, training, development & resourcing

You have:

• 7+ years of experience as a brand executive and operator who pushes for design excellence and a high degree of creativity
• Experience within a creative agency or marketing creative services group required
• Experience coordinating, directing and guiding the work of designers on your team
• A thoughtful approach with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to build consensus around, and incorporate feedback
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Impeccable attention to detail, excellent art direction and design sensibility
• Loves rolling up their sleeves to create assets themselves, while also being able to provide clear direction to designers, vendors and agencies to deliver creative executions.
• Experience working cross functionally and collaborating with senior and executive level leadership teams
• Experience working with a set of brand guidelines or demonstrated experience creating visual systems
• Demonstrated decision making and communication skills

We offer competitive pay with a base salary range for this position of $165,000 - $215,000 depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, we offer lumen-denominated grants along with the following perks and benefits:
