Creditor Relations Manager Job at Americor
The Creditor Relations Manager is responsible for overseeing the ongoing communications, strategies, and analysis needed to foster and maintain excellent relationships with our creditor partners. This includes attending regular creditor meetings to discuss mutual process improvement, driving more favorable settlement terms, and troubleshooting any issues with the debt settlement process.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, build, and maintain relationships with creditor partners
- Utilize and help create reporting to assess areas of opportunity with our creditor partners
- Negotiate more favorable terms on bulk settlement agreements
- Handle and direct inquiries coming in from creditors
- Work with upper management on developing creditor strategies
- Build and lead a team of creditor relations liaisons to assist in maintaining relationships
- Create and maintain a book of contacts with creditor partners
- Work with other members of leadership to ensure all inventories, settlement letters and other batch settlement files are received in a timely fashion
- Meets with Negotiations management regularly to assess the needs of our creditors
Requirements:
- 3+ years experience in the debt settlement industry, preferably in creditor-facing roles
- Comprehensive knowledge of creditor guidelines and strong understanding of debt settlement process
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing
- Excellent ability to quickly build rapport
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Superior leadership skills, focusing on servant leadership and development
- Strong work ethic, flexible and adaptable with a positive attitude and a willingness to go above and beyond to get the job done
- Results-oriented team player
- Superior time management, multitasking, and organizational skills; able to work under deadline constraints while completing work accurately and efficiently
- Good judgment with a highly developed sense of integrity and ability to consistently adhere to company and department guidelines and accurately apply policies and procedures to various situations
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
