Crisis Co-response Counselor Job at Emergency Psychiatric Services

If so, we’d love to connect with you! We are Mental Health Cooperative (MHC), and we’re looking for a Crisis Counselor, Co-Responder to join our Emergency Psychiatric Services (EPS) team! This role is located at our Metro Nashville Metro location. You’ll work side-by-side with Metro Nashville Police Department to provide face-to-face crisis intervention services, along with mental health support and care coordination, to people experiencing a mental health emergency.

Schedules Available:
3:00pm-1:00am Tuesday-Friday
To join our team, you’ll need:
- Collaborative spirit working with team members and community partners like Metro Nashville Police Department to implement the least restrictive alternative to meet the needs of the consumer.
- Strong relational skills to deescalate difficult situations while continuing to develop and maintain consumer relationships.
- Comprehensive knowledge of community resources to engage and support consumers in getting connected to appropriate treatment and services.
- Compassionate response to consumers’ needs while maintaining healthy boundaries.
- Master’s Degree in a Behavior Health Field and must actively pursue full licensure and Mandatory Pre-Screener Agent status.
