We are seeking a professional full-time Team Lead Medical Front Desk Receptionist for our office located in Towson, MD. Supervise workflows of the front office to ensure alleviation of bottlenecks and seamless flow between front and back office. The hours are Monday - Friday and will vary from 8:00AM- 5:00PM.

Team Lead Front Desk Receptionist Responsibilities:

  • Supervise workflows of the front office to ensure alleviation of bottlenecks and seamless flow between front and back office.
  • Effectively train new staff for the office ensuring that they have completed competency checklists.
  • Schedule appointments and assists with the scheduling of any additional testing directed by the physician.
  • Ensure all required patient paperwork is compiled for that day’s appointments.
  • Collect co-pays and past balances at time of check-in and enters into the batch for the day in Practice Management.
  • Reviews for completeness and accuracy and then enters required patient demographics and clinical information into Practice Management and EHR.
  • Scan patient’s driver’s license and insurance card(s) front and back into Ntierprise.
  • Ensure that all required referrals are obtained, scanned into the EMR and linked to that day’s appointment within Practice Management.
  • Reconcile payment batches at the end of every day and turn into Site Manager.
  • Schedule follow up procedures and coordinate any local ASC cases.
  • Assist patients with the completion of the Phreesia registration system.
  • As part of your positions requirements, you are expected to travel to other sites within a reasonable geographic region
  • Perform other office duties as assigned by manager.

Team Lead Medical Front Desk Receptionist Requirements:

  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 5 years medical front desk experience.
  • Prior leadership experience.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficient knowledge in insurances.
  • Computer proficiency and prior experience with EMR highly preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel to other sites as necessary.
