Position Overview:
The Culture & Engagement Manager manages all engagement activities for the Chattanooga location. The position will create and manage the engagement budget, prioritize and facilitate the Great Places to Work action items for the Chattanooga site. Creativity, organizational skills, project management, time management and prioritization, attention to detail, and strong communication skills are needed to be successful in this position.
Responsibilities:
- Support all departments within Chattanooga to improve overall culture and employee engagement to increase retention, improve productivity and boost employee morale
- Manage sitewide written/ video communication leveraging collaboration technology ensuring content is fresh and relevant to driving engagement and improving the customer experience
- Create/publish monthly engagement calendars and activities for all employees to ensure engagement among fully remote, hybrid and on-site employees
- Coordinate with engagement committee, delegating responsibilities, while ensuring completion of all assigned tasks.
- Establish rapport with all leaders and help create individual team engagement plans
- Liaise with local V.O.T.E. (Voice of the Employee) committees to ensure Great Places to Work action items are prioritized and implemented.
- Create and establish vendor relationships for engagement activities while coordinating with procurement and other departments to maximize savings
- Assist with quarterly All Hands meetings to capture questions and summarize data to share with leadership teams.
- Manage and report departmental incentive expenses
- Responsible for site event planning as directed and managing, facilitating, and executing special projects as requested.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- 2-3 years of Project Management, Event Planning, Communications or Public Relations management experience
- Experience and passion for fostering a workplace culture with a focus on promoting Diversity and Inclusion
- Must possess strong verbal, written, and presentation skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate successfully with all levels of the organization
- Must be able to create and manage a budget
- Must be able to balance deliverables, stay on task and meet deadlines as assigned
- Demonstrated ability to manage conflict
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office required; Excel, Word, and PowerPoint are strongly desired.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to take ownership for wide-ranging responsibilities
- Ability to perform under deadline pressure
- Ability to interpret survey data and recommend action items
- Attention to detail, superior organization, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills
- Self-directed with the ability to proactively assess problems and identify solutions
- Must possess a strong professional, yet friendly demeanor
- Must be able to flex schedule to fit the needs of the business

Salary Range: $56,250.00 - $75,000.00
Bonus Potential: 5%
