Come SHINE with us! We are searching for a Curriculum Development Specialist who is looking to create fun and exciting lesion plans that supports young people having experiences that build their integrity, fosters creativity, embraces inclusivity, and nurtures engagement with the community.

As a Curriculum Development Specialist, you will:
- Bring your interests and talents to the collaborative drawing board to develop curriculum with original content for children in grades TK-8th.
- Research and evaluate practices in curriculum development, teaching/facilitation and learning
- Support and co-lead professional development opportunities for teaching staff
Curriculum Development Specialist Requirements:
- In progress or completed BA degree in Youth Development, Education, Recreation Management, or related field.
- At least 1 year of experience writing and developing education or recreation-based curriculum for young people (children aged 4-13)
- Ability to clear fingerprints/background check
Other Qualifications:
- Demonstrated expertise in curriculum area (IE. School Age, Camp, topics such as: science, technology, art, dance, etc)
- Excellent communication skills, verbal, written and listening skills.
- Ability to write clearly and communicate curriculum goals, instructions, and needs. Able to change writing style to meet the audience.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating in an inclusive, respectful manner to achieve common goals.
- Possesses a high level of initiative and motivation.
