Custodian | Floor Tech Experience Required | 2nd & 3rd Shift Job at Goodwill of Columbus
Summary
Responsible for the strip, scrub, wax, and buffing of floors in assigned client locations. Work is fast paced and involves working in multiple buildings as required, so reliable personal transportation is needed
Essential Job Functions
- Ability to operate all cleaning floor machines and equipment
- Required to work in multiple buildings based on project workload.
- Primary responsibility is to complete long-term maintenance projects such as scrubbing, buffing, stripping or waxing or carpet cleaning with minimal supervision meeting time goals.
- Adhere to Company Safety and PPE standards when job duties
Education and Experience – An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered.
- Minimum 6 months of experience required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities which may be representative, but not all-inclusive of those commonly associated with this position.
- Ability to operate cleaning machines and equipment.
- Clear verbal communication skills and ability to give and follow written and oral instructions.
- Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work as well as concentrate on multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Possess a drive and passion for providing a high standard of cleanliness, productivity and customer service.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 per hour
