SUMMARY: Responsible for explaining complex matters to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. Performs sales function in order to sell products and services.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Answers customer questions, explains available services, and provides information on pricing. Corrects errors as needed. Enters orders and dispatches orders to the appropriate delivery site. Creates and maintains customer data in software system to ensure correct customer database information. Troubleshoots and conducts research related to the customer. Performs various duties and project work as needed. Requires frequent contact with other departments within the organization to respond to customer needs.

Qualifications


EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Associate Degree preferred or job-related formal training after high school.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum one (1) year of experience working in a customer interface role dealing with customers as a primary job function. Prior experience in a call center preferred.

TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY: Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and Teams.

COMPETENCIES: Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal/external business partners. Ability to evaluate process effectiveness and develop change or alternatives. Ability to function effectively with, or as part of a team. Ability to effectively manage projects that may vary in nature and scope. Ability to identify and/or document existing and new trend, as well as evaluate and predict their impact on the organization. Knowledge of and ability to apply the concepts, principles and practices of change management. Ability to adapt in response to a particular customer in order to achieve success.

JOB SCOPE: Position impacts multiple business units/segments.

WORKING CONDITIONS: Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature, and the like. Extended use of a computer keyboard, viewing of a computer monitor and the ability to sit for long periods of time.
