Schedule: Full-Time
Shift: Day's Monday 5:30am.- 2:00pm. and Tuesday to Friday 5:45am.- 2:15pm. Must be open

You Will Be Responsible For:
Demonstrates, through behavior, AdventHealth’s core values of Integrity, Compassion, Balance, Excellence, Stewardship, and Teamwork.
- Answers phones and greets patients and guests using AdventHealth’s Compassion Behaviors and using outstanding customer service skills. Notifies appropriate department(s) or person know of patient progress. Escalates any patient conflicts that may occur and handles those conflicts by adhering to the policies and mission of AdventHealth. Follows department escalation process and reports any issues to the Imaging Support Supervisor and/or Manager that may occur during shift.
- Follows AdventHealth & departmental policies and standard operating procedures including the Image Standards and uniform policies and department guidelines.
- Reviews, facilitates and validates requests for imaging records for patients and/or physician offices. Releases records in accordance with all HIPPA, federal and state laws related to release of information, memos patient account appropriately.
- Researches scripts, previous forms, insurance cards, orders, and changes and cancels exams. Uses scheduling program to research exams scheduled for patients and reschedules as needed.
- Registers patients as they arrive to the department (where required) using AdventHealth procedures and adhering to the PFS standards. Completes registrations in a timely manner. Follows through on all registration screens to complete process and collects co-payment as needed at time of service adhering to PFS standards and guidelines. Scans all paperwork into system. Assists coworkers as needed.
What You Will Need:
- Basic computer and filing skills
- Communicates professionally with an acceptable use of English and spelling
- Ability to follow directions
- Works independently in most situations while multitasking
- Ability to work with people of various diverse backgrounds
- Customer service skills
- Knowledge of patient financial services (PFS) procedure
- Knowledge of computer programs including Support, Cerner and PACS
- Medical Terminology
- Ability to communicate in Spanish
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous Radiology or Medical Office experience
