Company Description:
San Diego Hat Company is an international wholesaler that designs and distributes a wide variety of high-quality hats, handbags, scarves and tunics to boutiques, specialty retail chains and department stores.
This key position is the outward facing point-of-contact for the company and the internal hub of the company’s daily activities. The core responsibilities of this position are supporting customers and inside/outside salespeople and ensuring all customer orders are shipped correctly. It requires excellent verbal and written communications skills, accurate and efficient data entry and the ability to multi-task.
The position is based in our Carlsbad, CA headquarters.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years’ experience in apparel/accessories wholesale customer service and online sales customer service experience
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Efficient and accurate data entry
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
Job Responsibilities:
- Efficiently field inbound order and support calls and emails from customers and salespeople
- Assist customers with product selection during inbound order calls
- Quickly and accurately process purchase orders for fulfillment and coordinate delivery requirements between customers, sales, accounting, production and warehouse
- Print and match shipping labels through Shipstation daily for all retail orders, and upload tracking to retail portals
- Managing multiple email accounts for customer service on all sales channels
- Resolve customer issues quickly and diplomatically
- Maintain customer information in database
· Review and rectify customer compliance issues with internal and external resources
- Some travel may be required for tradeshows and sales appointments to present our current and future seasons to our accounts and potential buyers
- Other duties as assigned
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
