We are seeking a full-time Customer Service Specialist to add to our team. New Horizon Kennel has been in operation since 2012 and has a stellar reputation in our community and surrounding areas. We provide a variety of high-quality services that include lodging, training, enrichment play groups and SPAW offerings for dogs and cats alike. At New Horizon, we seek to be exceptional, and as a result, we have attracted an outstanding, internal team as well as an amazing client base.

Our Customer Service position offers many opportunities, including the greeting and processing of arriving and departing guests, the calculation and collection of payments, efficient handling of electronic and phoned in inquiries and reservations, educating and sharing of information with new and existing clients, promotion of services and products, and facility tours. This position also provides the ability to utilize additional skills such as active listening, multi-tasking and creativity.

To be qualified for this role, you’ll need to be enthusiastic, dependable, value teamwork, possess a keen attention to detail and a exude a positive, but skillful demeanor. We would like to see 2 or more years’ experience in a customer service role within a company that has daily face to face, written and phone interactions. Experience in basic accounting and sales are value-added. Candidates will be best set up for success if they are able to work both independently and as a part of a team, exhibit a strong desire to learn all aspects of the operations, possess an aptitude for discerning collaboration, and can both follow and communicate detailed instructions with a high level of accuracy.

Our scheduling incorporates daytime, early evening and some weekend hours to accommodate our boarding guests’ needs.
