This position covers duties at our front desk and call center areas. The right candidate for this position is customer service oriented, highly organized, and is skilled at juggling several things at once The right candidate responds professionally to customer questions and needs, maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor at all times.
Duties
- Provide front desk and call center coverage
- Provide detailed and efficient information about our products and services
- Greet and direct customers
- Set up telephone reservations for pet lodging, day care, grooming and obedience training
- Set up online reservations for pet lodging, day care, grooming and obedience training
- Reservation check-in and check-out
- Ring up retail sales
- Answer phones, route calls, record detailed messages
- Manage credit card and cash transactions
- Balance cash drawers
Qualifications
- A minimum of two years of customer service experience in a similar job such as; Hotel front desk, retail/service business, call center, online customer service, reception, or other administrative position
- Experience documenting customer interactions through a CRM platform
- Excellent telecommunication skills
- Polished and professional verbal skills
- Excellent written communication skills
- Exceptional listening skills
- Upbeat and positive attitude
- Proficient in the use of email and texting platforms
- Service-oriented demeanor
- Proficient cash management skills
Physical demands of the job
- Prolonged standing and sitting depending on work assignment

Availability/Hours
- 15-20 hours per week
- Stone Mountain Pet Lodge is a 7-day per week program
- Shifts run between 6 AM and 6 PM (occasionally until 9 PM)
