Position Summary:
As Exam Support Specialist, you will support a critical new Federal Reserve System program (Program) focusing on cybersecurity and operational risk management in the large and foreign banking organization (LFBO) and significant service provider (SSP) portfolios. As part of the Cybersecurity National Examination Team (CyberNet) under the Cybersecurity, Technology, and Service Provider (CTSP) umbrella, you will provide project management and administrative support relating to Program objectives, priorities, and other initiatives. Additionally, you will provide operational support for other teams under the CTSP umbrella. This role will also include growth opportunities for you to develop skills in cybersecurity and information technology supervision. You will report to the Director of Examinations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participates in and may lead projects focusing on talent acquisition, management, and retention of CyberNet resources in collaboration with System colleagues
  • Administers projects and initiatives related to CyberNet and helps develop recommendations and makes presentations to management and division staff
  • Monitors milestones and performance metrics against organizational initiatives and objectives
  • Contributes to the design, implementation, and evaluation of CyberNet processes and templates.
  • Maintains relevant policies, standards, and procedures related to CTSP
  • Over time, masters tools and analytics in support of CyberNet and CTSP
  • Collaborate with other business lines to perform QC/QA activities for CTSP
  • Demonstrates effective exam support process knowledge; Understands multiple business line functions and responsibilities
  • May participate in cybersecurity/information technology examinations to develop supervisory skills
  • Provide routine and ad-hoc research and analysis to assess technology trends and respond to inquiries; analyze issues of varying complexity to develop recommendations to solve escalated problems
  • Monitor for new or potential risks and evaluate implications of risks and/or changes in business lines, regulations, policies, or practice
Job Specific Information:

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's Degree is preferred, but not required. Education in a related field of Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or Information Systems will be beneficial for future growth opportunities.
Experience: Entry-level position. All levels of experience or equivalent academic studies are valued. Experience in regulatory/government agencies or financial services is a plus, but not required.
Functional Knowledge:
Technical Skills: Microsoft Office Suites
Certifications/Licenses: Not required, but the drive to obtain certification(s) is encouraged
Travel: Less than 5% travel required.
