Job title - Cybersecurity
Required Knowledge and Skills:
· Advanced knowledge of the OSI model and security that is associated with each layer
· Experience in information security domain and technical security standards compliance monitoring programs
· Strong working knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems
· Strong technical understanding of data security, data loss prevention, and data tagging
· Understanding of TCP, UDP, HTTP, IP, and other network protocols
· Advanced technical writing
· Understanding of scripting languages such as Python.
· Proactive go getter attitude to solve challenging problems
· High level IT security processes
· Extensive working experience with cloud technologies and tools such as AWS and Azure
· Think positively when faced with obstacles, build on other ideas, think logically and intuitively
· Ability to use manual tools to re-create and evaluate vulnerabilities
· Experience managing third party vendors
Qualifications and Education:
· Experiences with DLP (Symantec CASB/DLP) deployment, administration, configuration, and management of solutions
· Experience with policy tuning and implementing best practices
· Experience with Data security including data tagging and classification.
· Experience the product Varonis a plus
· Ensure clients/servers are operational and reporting properly
· Demonstrated and hands-on experience with cybersecurity technologies.
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience.
· 5 plus years of prior IT experience.
· Motivated self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to create complex technical reports on analytic finding.
Job Type: Contract
Salary: $70.00 - $80.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
