Location: 1701 S Zero St., Fort Smith, AR.
Hours: Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm.

Summary:
SUMMARY: With minimal direction from the Default Account Servicing Manager, the Default Account Servicing Representative 2 is responsible for contacting advanced delinquent indirect/direct loan customers regarding their delinquent account and/or weakness in their credit. The Default Account Servicing Representative 2 recommends solutions to bring delinquent/problem loans to resolution while minimizing losses to the bank and recommends the appropriate legal action to be taken on delinquent/problem accounts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Must be able to perform all the duties of a Default Account Servicing Representative 1.
- Contact daily, by phone or in writing, loan customers with delinquent loans.
- Recommend courses of actions on delinquent/problem loans and negotiate courses of actions with borrowers. Refer customer requests for payment deferrals and requests for late fee waivers. Review accounts for possible execution of right of offset.
- Request fee refunds (i.e. NSF) and address other customer service issues as needed. Document, recommend and obtain proper approval on exceptions to policies.
- Assess accounts, when appropriate, to determine condition and location of collateral, potential for loss, repayment potential, etc., and provide recommendations on decisions to repossess, or refer to other legal action, to Default Account Servicing Manager.
- Properly assist customers within the serviced portfolios and/or connect customer to proper servicing representative when necessary, i.e. AMC, CMC, SBC, SFC or other bank group associate.
- Communicate with Default Account Servicing Manager regarding unresolved accounts that will cross 60 day threshold, i.e. suggest skip tracing, personal visit, etc.
- Assist in training and/or mentoring Default Account Servicing Representative 1s of the department’s processes.
- Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 3 years previous experience in customer service and/or retail sales required.
- 1 year previous collections experience or equivalent experience required.
- Previous banking or operations experience preferred.
- Associate’s degree preferred.
