Responsibilities:
Perform various tasks related to the data integration function supporting the administration and valuation of pension plans using company sponsored software and tools, working with other analysts and specialists.
Essential Duties:
Perform periodic payroll imports into our benefit administration platform for pension plans- Assist with periodic death monitoring and address searches with outside vendor and syncing of our database
- Perform periodic exports from our benefit administration system for workflow monitoring, compliance monitoring, plan sponsor reporting and retiree payroll reconciliation
- Perform monthly reconciliation of pension plan database and retiree payer service monthly files
- Prepare annual snapshot of data for valuation purposes, working with valuation analysts to meet specific requirements for pension plan
- Use of standard spreadsheet tools and participation in development of improvement to tools to meet demand and growing business.
- Assist in the data mining and analysis in response to basic client inquiries or line of business statistics

- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree upon graduation from an accredited College or University with a major in Mathematics,
- Data Science, Finance, Economics or a related field requiring similar technical skills. Strong GPA of 3.2 overall or 3.5 in Major is preferred.
Competencies:
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Organized and able to follow directions to complete work assignments with minimal supervision
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as personal computer skills.
- Ability to learn and use other industry specific software
Experience:
- Relevant internships
