Data Analyst Job at SHINE Systems
The Data Analyst conducts full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities and design. Data analysts will develop analysis and reporting capabilities. They will also monitor performance documentation, and metrics to identify improvements.
Contractor personnel shall provide, but not limited to, the following services:
a. Interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques.
b. Develop and implement data analyses, data collection systems, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
c. Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintaining databases.
d. Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports.
e. Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
f. Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases / data systems.
g. Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
h. Filter and clean data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems.
i. Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.
j. Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
k. Support activities, functions, or duties, as defined in future TOs.
Position Requirements:
Education: Baccalaureate degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or in another field with demonstrable coursework in these areas.
Experience: working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst.
Skills: Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (e.g. Business Objects), databases (e.g. SQL), programming (e.g. XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks). Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (e.g. Excel, SPSS, SAS).
Certifications: N / A.
