Position Overview
The Division of University Advancement is seeking to hire a Data Analyst to join our growing advancement services team. This position is a member of a team responsible for maintaining data health and governance, including conducting data compilation, screening, validation and analysis utilizing a variety of software programs and integrating data from multiple sources. This position proactively supports the mission of University Advancement and the University of North Texas.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong mathematical and technical ability.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Working knowledge of relational databases.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office including Access and Excel.
- Ability to quickly assimilate to specific software.
- Ability to quickly assimilate how data sets impact related systems and functions
Preferred Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following additional qualifications:
- Previous experience and/or certification in Blackbaud/NXT
- Previous experience in SQL or other programming language
- Previous experience utilizing Power BI or similar reporting software to create and distribute reports
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and/or Access experience
Required License / Registration / Certification
Work Schedule
Typical 40 hour work week with flexible scheduling and potential for hybrid after onboarding.

Job Duties
o
Data health and integrity.
o
Data quality checks including RESCU processes.

Unsubscribes.
o
Create queries and fulfill data requests from BBRE/NXT
o
Assist with building, QC and delivery of high quality reports related to philanthropic activity.
o
Assist team with documentation and maintenance of data governance processes and business rules.
