Data Analyst Job at Veterans Engineering
Must be US Citizen
Position Title: Data Analyst
Are you excited at the prospect of unlocking the secrets held by a data set? When you dig through data, are you able to find the business value contained within it? In other words, can you dive beneath the surface to answer the question, “So what?” If so, you might be just the type of person we’re seeking.
We are building a system that enables the VA to make its IT policy actionable by bridging the distance between its Technical Reference Model (TRM) and the system inventories provided by BigFix and SCCM. We’re tying together data from many other parts of VA to create a set of tools that will help VA reduce its risk footprint and protect our veterans’ data. Binding these disparate data sources and extracting valuable data is a challenging job. We’re looking for you, an analyst who will understand the datasets and find ways to unify them into something that will drive change. We need someone whose curiosity will help him or her find value where others might not have recognized it before.
You will be joining a collaborative team made up of innovators and smart problem-solvers who aren’t afraid to collectively roll up their sleeves to tackle tough problems that bring value to our client. Join us as we build a system to change the Department of Veterans Affairs for the better.
