Ameripipe Supply, Inc. is the Southwest’s leading independently owned supplier of pipe, valves, fittings and fabrication services supporting the fire protection, mechanical, industrial, and oilfield markets. Founded in 1979, the company has headquarters in Dallas, with branch operations in Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Houston, San Antonio and Austin.
Attention to detail and accuracy are highly important for this position. Heavy data entry skills are essential. Usage of a computer mouse and keyboard is required to input data from the customer’s stock list into HydraList. Totals and quotes are generated from data entered to enable the Sales Team to produce accurate estimates. Upon awarded projects, produce fabrication sheets, packing list, and labels for the shop. The qualified candidate will be responsible for all fabrication stock lists from the time it comes in for quote until the time it goes to the fabrication shop.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities-
Be able to work independently with minimal supervision
Attntion to detail with the ability to communicate with other employees and customers
Must possess the ability to multi-task and prioritize assigned tasks.
Position may require working alternate hours or weekends to meet customer installation requirements.
Check contract documents for accuracy and thoroughness.
Ensures all engineering change notices are processed efficiently, effectively, and consistently and that all booked orders for standard designs have complete documentation.
Effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with other departments within Ameripipe as well as with potential vendors.
Qualifications
- Must be at least eighteen years of age
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening
- Must pass a pre-employment Background Check
- MS Word, Excel, CAD-Computer aided design
- Data Entry
- Degree preferred
