Responsibilities:

  • Collect and interpret data and convert into usable information.
  • Identify patterns and trends in data sets.
  • Analyze results and report the results back to the USG Lead.
  • Define new data collection and analysis processes.
  • Provide subject matter and technical expertise at the action officer level to initiate, plan, perform, monitor, and close various project initiatives.
  • Perform activities to support S&T proposal calls.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently, effectively, and efficiently within a diverse, creative, and fast-paced team environment, and to efficiently prioritize competing requirements and manage time and technical resources.
  • Analyze, plan, organize, and coordinate work and work products.
  • Exhibit strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Exhibit knowledge and experience in data analysis management including predictive analytics, analytics methodologies and tools, and associated processes related to systematic assessment of USAF capabilities and programs.
  • Exhibit and apply an understanding of DoD and USAF processes for assessing and developing technology to achieve new warfighting capabilities and of Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Joint Agencies, Services, and USAF organizational structures.
  • Assess and advise on a variety of methodologies for operational analysis.
  • Research, investigate, and report on various established and emerging techniques for data analysis.
  • Develop methods to gather and display key information for review, including task planning, study status, operational trends and relationships, etc.
  • Document initial analytical requirements, review analytical reports, and synthesize and merge multiple reports into a more comprehensive report.
  • Provide products and services as described below in execution of this data analytics support role.
  • Coordinate on analytics with organizations inside AFRL, across the USAF and DoD, and in other national agencies and institutions.
  • Assist with project management activities including, but not limited to, organizing meetings; capturing outcomes, decisions, and key findings; preparing briefing charts and reports; and distributing, collecting, and organizing project information.

Qualifications:

  • **Must have an active Secret security clearance**
  • Education: BS in Analytical Science / Operations Research or related field
  • Four years experience
