Overview

As Data Steward, you will work on digitization projects across the business while driving innovation and strategic change through technology, data science, and deep analytics. This will include leveraging best-in-class cloud-based technologies to replace legacy solutions to provide intelligent trend insights, actionable opportunities, decision support, and transparency into organizational activities.

Data stewardship is the management and oversight of an organization's data assets to help provide business users with high-quality data that is easily accessible in a consistent manner.

Responsibilities

· Define data elements and establish policies and procedures adopted by business management teams that relate to the collection and accuracy of data

· Resolve exceptions either directly in the source system or populate templates with the data to be updated; ensure data populated in templates is in the correct format

· Work directly with the business to:

o Define business rules to resolve data quality issues (e.g., exclude Contacts that do not have an association with an active client/employee)

o Resolve exceptions (e.g., provide an accurate email address)

o Validate data in the target system and provide signoff

o Meet data cleanup timelines to have the data ready for user acceptance testing

o Align with Data Analysts on data exception reports

o Provide teams with cleansed data templates

o Give necessary training on the stewarded data upon request

o Maintain data flow diagrams related to stewarded data

· Experienced with SQL and Excel

· A strong communicator with the ability to execute tasks effectively

· Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and analytical skills

· Able to effectively influence stakeholders and have strong leadership skills

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $85.00 - $90.00 per hour
