WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING?
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Warehouse Architect to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our data warehouse architecture. You will lead the migration from Oracle to Snowflake, re-architect our current warehouse, design ETL processes, and develop Tableau and Power BI reports. You will also work closely with our AWS data lake tooling team to design and implement a self-service environment.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR?
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- 7-10+ years of experience in data warehousing architecture and design.
- Design and implement a data warehouse architecture to support our business needs.
- Lead the migration from Oracle to Snowflake, including data modeling, schema design, and ETL processes.
- Re-architect our current warehouse to optimize performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Design and develop ETL processes to integrate data from various sources into the data warehouse.
- Work closely with our AWS data lake tooling team to design and implement a self-service environment for data consumers.
- Develop Tableau and Power BI reports to provide business insights to data consumers.
- Write complex SQL queries to support reporting and data analysis.
- Ensure the security, availability, and integrity of the data warehouse.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including data models, schema designs, and ETL processes.
- Stay current with the latest trends and technologies in data warehousing, ETL, and reporting.
- Experience with Snowflake data warehouse, including data modeling, schema design, and ETL processes.
- Experience with AWS data lake tooling, such as S3, Glue, and Athena.
- Strong SQL skills, including writing complex queries and performance tuning.
- Experience with Tableau and Power BI report development.
- Strong understanding of data warehouse concepts, such as star schema, dimension modeling, and ETL.
