• DoD IAT Level II Certification.

SUMMARY
Agile Defense is searching for a DBA to support our Program Executive Office Enterprise Information Systems (PEO EIS) customer. The focus of this project is to support the Army Identity Credential and Access Management (ICAM) systems, helping to ensure that the right people have the correct access to tools and systems to succeed in the mission.

Program Executive Office Enterprise Information Systems (PEO EIS) works to modernize and manage the Army’s network and enterprise business systems through the support of Army and Department of Defense (DOD) communications, logistics, medical, finance, personnel, training, and procurement systems. The focus of this project is to support the services of the Army Identity Credential and Access Management (ICAM) systems, helping to ensure that the right people have the correct access to tools and systems to succeed in the mission.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain the overall health of technologies associated with Database Infrastructure.
• Provide analysis and remediation for DISA Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIG) for all responsible technologies.
• Escalate product-related DBA issues to third-party product vendors.
• Support change management process;
• Maintain the security posture of the server environments, both NIPR & SIPR.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required Certifications

• DoD IAT Level II Certification.
• Certified Oracle DBA.

Education, Background, and Years of Experience

• 10+ years of experience.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills

• Experience with Oracle upgrades and patching (12c/18c/19c)
• Performance tuning and advanced troubleshooting
• Experience with stored procedures, functions, Packages, and Triggers
• Ability to adapt and contribute to standardization methodologies
• Capable of designing, testing, and delivering solutions to operational support for implementation
• Detail-oriented with proven analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to research and solve complex issues independently.
• Ability to utilize available tools and resources to resolve issues
• Ability to clearly and concisely communicate/explain technical information to a broad range of people with varying levels of technical expertise

WORKING CONDITIONS
Environmental Conditions

• Candidate should be prepared to eventually work on site with 0%-10% travel possible, however, at this time the expectation is to report on site once a week. Possible off-hours work to support releases and outages. General office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are not hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.

Strength Demands

• Sedentary – 10 lbs. Maximum lifting, occasional lift/carry of small articles. Some occasional walking or standing may be required. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
