Summary:

Responsible for deepcleaning hotel guest rooms.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Be able to followinstructions and work with minimal supervision.

• Responsiblefor deep cleaning a minimum of 5 rooms daily
• Vacuum/Steam Clean Carpets
• Cleanwalls, bathrooms, Fixtures, Windows
• MoveFurniture- tables, nightstand, beds
• Pressurewash Exterior walls & Balconies
• Sweep,scrub, mop and polish floors
• Vacuumclean carpets, rugs and draperies
• Shampoocarpets, rugs and upholstery
• Dustand polish furniture and fittings
• Cleanmetal fixtures and fittings
• Emptyand clean waste containers; dispose of waste in a sanitary manner
• Cleanwash basins, mirrors, tubs and showers
• Wipedown glass surfaces
• Makeup beds and change linens as required
• Washwindows as scheduled
• Operatemechanized cleaning equipment
• Maintainall cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary working condition
• Monitorand report necessary repairs and replacements
• Realignfurniture and amenities according to prescribed layout
• Respondto calls for housekeeping problems such as spills, broken glasses
• Organizeand restock cart at the end of the shift
• Ensureconfidentiality and security of guest rooms
• Followall company safety and security procedures
• Reportany maintenance issues or safety hazards
• Observeand report damage of hotel property
• Monitorand maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas
• Usecorrect cleaning chemicals for designated surfaces, according to OSHAregulations and hotel
• Followestablished safety precautions for cleaning and maintaining all areas of thefacility
• Performother duties as assigned by the Director of Hotel Operations

Requirements:

• HighSchool Diploma or GED required.
• One(1) to two (2) years of previous public area cleaning experience or relatedexperience.
• Priorjob related experience is preferred but not required
• Knowledgeof cleaning and sanitation products, techniques and methods
• Knowledgeof cleaning sensitive materials
• Workingknowledge of operating cleaning equipment
• Beat least 18 years or older.

Additional Knowledge, Skills, andAbilities:Must have soliddecision-making, organization, and interpersonal skills. Excellent verbal communication skills arerequired. The ability to thrive in afast-paced multi-tasking, hands-on environment. Ability to establish and maintain a positive and professional workingrelationships with all individuals. Ability to work occasional overtime andirregular hours.
