SUMMARY: Responsible for supporting warehouse operations through delivery, transferring, storing and picking activities.

DUTIES AND RESPOSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for following all departmental direction and adhering to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s), food safety and all established operational policies and procedures
• Learn and follow safety procedures and participate in training specific/safe operation of trucks, forklifts, and other powered industrial machines (inverter, electric pallet hacks, bubble wrap machines…etc.)
• Able to generate and pull purchase orders requested from retail departments and other revenue centers as scheduled
• Receive, commit, and validate transfers/transfer requests and all sales orders alike
• Inspect and verify order and accurately pick/pull, and complete count in system as required (inventory system & retail system)
• Ensure products are delivered in a timely manner
• Make sure inventory matches manifest
• Palletize and prepare requested inventory for all revenue centers
• Safely load vehicles with company material and requests
• Delivery orders to customers on assigned route plans
• Safely unload inventory into designated locations
• Pick up and distribute mail, interoffice envelopes accurately to the proper personnel
• Safely operate all vehicles including forklifts, hand trucks, pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment in a safe and professional manner
• Ensure Pallet Standard Operating Procedures are followed
• Maintain the cleanliness of vehicles; refueling as needed
• Record all delivery times and locations with provided checklists
• Assist in identifying vehicle maintenance and or problematic mechanical issues including low tire pressure, tire wear dents...etc.
• Report any accidents encountered while enroute
• Conduct inspections of vehicle prior to departure to deliver goods
• Ensures all drivers checklists are fill out accurately and submitted on a daily basis
• Report all incidents/accidents
• Support all manufacturing departments as needed
• Ensures all temperature-controlled transportations are recorded in the internal release forms
• Responsible to maintain allergen food contact responsibilities
• Assists in sanitation controls surrounding work area
• Ensures all direct food contact supplies are logged according to procedure
• Ensures lot numbers are recorded at time of receipt
• Records all lot number associated with raw materials and products at time of receiving
• Assist in proper rotation of all products following FIFO method
• Transport materials finished product from production to storage
• Transport materials, finished goods between warehouses and external freezer/chiller storage
• Perform other duties as assigned including housekeep of common areas

REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:

• Represents the company brand image and shares aloha to all customers, business partners, and co-workers at all levels throughout the company
• Possession of driver’s license
• Proficient at driving and parking large vehicles
• Able to obtain DOT Medical Card
• Able to understand and follow oral or written work instructions
• Good communication skills
• Forklift experience preferred
• Professional disposition, and able to give customers positive customer service experiences
• Clean driving abstract/record
• Able to work with all employees and always maintain open communication
• Current forklift certification
• Able to multitask

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Able to stand and walk throughout the scheduled work shift
• Able to lift and/or move up to 75 lbs. on a continuous basis throughout the workday
• Physically capable/good vision
