Required Skills
Essential Duties & Responsibilities;
- Perform unloading, loading , moving and setting up home furnishings in our customers’ homes.
- As a truck driver you will also drive the truck and be responsible for complying with all applicable DOT and Levin Furniture regulations.
- Practice safe handling of the delivery equipment and furniture at all times to avoid damages.
- Communicate with internal and external customers in a professional and timely manner.
- Complete documentation neatly and accurately.
Skills, Abilities & Physical Demands:
- Excellent verbal and written communication, and listening skills.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills.
- Basic numeric reasoning skills.
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, stand, push, pull and lift cartons weighing approximately 50-100+lbs repetitively.
Requirements
- Maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
- Obtain and maintain a DOT physical card
Work Schedule:
Tuesday through Saturday; 6:00am until assigned deliveries are complete.
