Delivery Driver/ Yard Worker Job at Paradise Nursery
For over 25 years our dedicated family at Paradise Nursery has established an outstanding reputation for high-quality plants, trees, and customer services. We are seeking reliable candidates with experience driving delivery stake bed trucks and/or high-roof vans.
Responsibilities Includes:
- Safely drive stake bed or box truck
- Use proper lifting techniques to move heavy items up to 60 lbs
- Move items with a hand truck/dolly
- Courteously deliver items to customers
- Review purchase orders and load company trucks and customer vehicles
- Assisting customers with questions and plant selection
- General duties as assigned such as watering plants, clean-up, and maintaining a safe/ organized environment
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid Driver’s License
- Minimum 1-year experience driving
- Self-motivated
- Punctual, good attendance
- Customer service experience preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Day range:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Shift:
- 8 hour shift
Work Location: One location
