Location Description:

Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be a key partner in successfully creating the overall demand volume plan for several segments of the Pet organization. Your experience & skillset will be utilized in analyzing, assessing, and collaborating with all functional partners in areas such as Sales, Marketing, Customer & Brand Commercialization, Customer Supply Chain and Supply Planning to synthesize the demand plan while surfacing risks as well as opportunities.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Develop and maintain operational forecast by item, customer, and distribution center in the Logility Demand Planning system
  • Conduct monthly Demand Planning Review meetings to inform and gain consensus on operational forecast with Marketing, Finance, and Brand Commercialization
  • Drive monthly meetings with Sales to collect, determine impact of, and incorporate market intelligence (i.e. competitive activity, retail trends and trade/consumer promotional activity) into the forecast.
  • Analyze forecast performance via exception reporting and take appropriate action
  • Work with Supply Planning, Customer Logistics, and Sales to review and resolve operational forecast issues and communicate resolution
  • Lead the development of operational forecast for Innovation launches at the item, customer, and distribution center level by incorporating input from Marketing, Brand Commercialization, Customer Commercialization, Sales, and Portfolio Commercialization as well as historical data. Monitor and adjust forecasts as necessary
  • Actively contribute to Process Improvement Projects and item transitions; identify and resolve potential issues in the planning process
  • Seek out opportunities for improvement in existing reporting options or innovative analytical processes to drive improvement across the Demand Planning teams
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree is required
  • Minimum of 5 years of supply chain experience with emphasis on Demand Planning & experience with enterprise forecasting software
  • Excellent analytical and Excel skills with desire to solve problems
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to make decisions and recommendations to internal customers
  • Self-directed work style
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks across various functional areas
