Front Desk/Receptionist Dental Office

Serenity Dental is a privately-owned general and family dental office located in Southwest Austin in the Oak Hill area.

We are in search of a skilled and personable front desk team member who is looking for an office to become their long-term dental home and grow with the practice. The ideal candidate must be a positive team player with the ability to communicate effectively, has a thorough knowledge of dentistry and dental procedures, and is familiar with the day-to-day workings of a dental office.

You will be the first person our patients see, so it is important that our candidate be presentable, professional, and friendly.

Requirements

• Proficient in EagleSoft software
• At least one year of experience with sending insurance claims and attachments
• Confident in speaking about dental procedures
• Ability to understand x-rays and patient charts
• Knowledge of the Invisalign treatment process and associated technology
• Spanish is required for this position, and knowledge of Spanish-language dental terminology
• Basic understanding of dental insurance and treatment planning is preferred but not required
• Experience as Dental Assistance is preferred but not required

Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in all patients
• Assist Manager to accurately verify dental insurance benefits
• Collect patient payments and give consent forms when needed
• Answer phones and schedule appointments
• Respond to patient emails and text messages
• Send insurance claims and process the End of Day report
• Re-scheduling broken appointments
• Track all incoming lab cases
• Maintain clean and professional office environment at all times
• Willing to assist back office and marketing as needed

Hours:

• Monday-Friday 7:30 – 5:00
• Wednesday - off
• Open one Saturday a month 08:30 - 2:00

The salary ranges from $18 - $26 (DOE) and includes bonus options, dental benefits, PTO, and paid holidays within a modern office with all the latest technology.
