Dental Sterilization Technician
The Dental Sterilization Technician is responsible for effective instrument and equipment sterilization and infection control procedures. The Dental Sterilization Technician must ensure compliance with all federal, state and local infection control and safety regulations and quality standards. This position also closely collaborates with the Director of Compliance and Risk Management along with the Dental Quality Manager. A high school diploma or equivalent required. Must have excellent attention to detail, good written and oral communication skills and an Interest in infection control and sterilization and willingness to learn. The Ability to create and maintain accurate documentation, record keeping and filing systems required.
Knowledge of dental practice and clinical sterilization practices in a healthcare setting with prior experience working as a sterilization technician in a healthcare setting preferred.
