Jr. Test Engineer

Job Summary:

Our client in Ann Arbor, MI is looking for a Jr. Test Engineer. This is a contract position.

What You Will Do:

During normal TMNA R&D working hours, consultant will be responsible for helping researchers develop new and innovative concepts, following duties are expected:

• Prepare/design test setup and run tests and experiments.
• Design and develop prototype using available tools including 3D printer.
• Analyze data and prepare summary.
• Help other research and development activity as directed.

Basics:

• Bachelor or Associate degree in Engineering technology or related area.
• Good grasp of fundamental engineering principles including mechanics of materials, dynamic systems and thermodynamics.
• 1-2 years experience in preparing test set-ups, running experiments, collecting and analyzing data.
• 1-2 years hands on experience in design using CAD tools.
• Good knowledge of 3D printing and other machine tools.
• Know-how in developing electrical/electronics would be a plus for different testing.
