Are you an experienced design strategist who enjoys being a master facilitator and developing the strategies that bring ideas to life? Design Strategists at Kyndryl will lead teams to drive co-creation across the customer lifecycle with our clients. From framing early-stage deals, to developing prototypes and driving innovation with new technologies, you will be creating strategic solutions that enable businesses to achieve their objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitating workshops to map out current state experiences, identify pain points and areas of opportunity, and explore viable technology solutions Working with customers to drive innovation and strategically ideate new solutions.
  • Working with customers to define key business objectives and create high-level business cases.
  • Develop strategies and iterative roadmaps for pilots/POCs to design, test, and implement new technologies.
  • Packaging final deliverables and action plans for customers.
  • Vigilant driver of always connecting technology solutions back to business objectives and outcomes


If you are hired into a Colorado work location, the compensation range for the position goes from $115,000.00 to $222,000.00, and is based on a full-time schedule. If you're hired into New York City work location the compensation range for the position is $127,000.00 - $244,000.00. Your ultimate compensation may vary depending on your job-related skills and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Highly proficient with various Design Thinking methodologies and innovation frameworks, like Jobs to Be Done, Lean Startup, and systems thinking.
  • Expertise in Service Design Excellent collaboration and communication skills with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail in the language and relationship dynamics of key stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Suite, Miro or Mural, & whiteboards.
  • Embodies the entrepreneurial mindset, thrives in ambiguity, and enjoys taking on ‘first of a kind’ challenges.
  • Always drives to improve processes, methodologies, and capabilities.
  • Strives to continuously “wow” clients with everything we do.
