We're currently seeking an IT Technology Support Specialist for the Commonwealth of Kentucky's COT Eastern Field Services District 1.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Good afternoon, COT Eastern Field Services District 1 is looking for a knowledgeable, experienced Desktop Support technician with a high aptitude for customer service. Our technicians interface with the agency users more than typical technical positions so customer service skills are as essential as technical skills. The office for this position will be located in Lexington.
The person hired for this position will primarily be supporting users in the counties of Clark, Estill, and Powell. The Eastern Field Services District 1 supports users in Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Estill, Fayette, Garrard, Harrison, Irvine, Jessamine, Lincoln, Madison, Mercer, Powell, Scott, and Woodford Counties so travel will be required within this area.
SKILLS
Required: Very knowledgeable and experienced with a high aptitude for customer service.
Required: Candidates will need to work on desktops.
Required: Candidates will need to work on laptops.
Required: Candidates will need to work on tablets.
Required: Candidates will need to work on copiers.
Required: Candidates will need to work on any type of mobile device.
Required: The candidate may also assist with server support.
Required: The candidate may also assist with switch support.
Required: The candidate may also assist with wiring.
Preferred: Prior work in a ticketing system is a plus, but not a must.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
